Ben Wishart

Ben is a graduate Nova Scotia Community College’s (NSCC) Public Relations program, holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Mount Allison University, and recently completed his PESO Model Certification from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. A strong writer and communicator, he has quickly gained experience in media relations, stakeholder engagement, and content creation.
Ben got his start as an Alumni Relations Coordinator for NSCC, where he developed social media strategy, reimagined existing communications strategies to fit a COVID-19 influenced world, and served a management role on alumni engagement projects.
In his time with Iris Communications he has continued to expand his skill set and capabilities serving in a supportive role to senior staff.
Ben is originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, but has called Halifax home for the last several years.
