Nicola brings diverse experience to the Iris Communications team, with a background in the defense, health, and engineering sectors. She holds a degree in Public Relations and is a proud Mount Saint Vincent University graduate.
 

Nicola started her career in the technology sector, leading internal and external communication initiatives for growing tech companies. Her focus was on developing and executing integrated communication strategies across various channels. 
 

Before transitioning into communications, she pursued a degree in engineering, which helped her gain a strong appreciation for technical processes and knowledge translation. This background has made her skilled at understanding and conveying complex technical concepts to a broad audience, and she thoroughly enjoys exploring new fields of knowledge.
 

Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Nicola has made Halifax her home for over four years and greatly appreciates the vibrant community that thrives in the city.
